Rescued Owl
This great horned owl was injured and rescued by Pacific Wildlife Care - I've never seen an owl up that close before! What huge eyes they have! His handler said that he exerts 30 pounds of pressure with his talons!
How wonderful! Years ago, I visited the home of some folks who had a resuced Tawny owl as a pet. Imagine my surprise when I entered their lounge, to find the owl sitting happily on her perch "watching" TV with the family!
