I'm feeling kind of guilty because we have been having such nice weather while the rest of the country is suffering through frigid temps and lots of snow! Really. Seriously. I'm sorry!! But here are some more photos from a perfectlly lovely Sunday spent in Cambria.
The oxalis, wild poppies, pride of madera, wild mustard and ice plant are beginning to bloom everywhere along the coast, and the ornamental fruit trees are bursting into bloom as well. The hillsides are a lovely shade of green, and the black cattle really stand out! And we saw about 7 zebras mingling with the cattle near San Simeon. Sparkling blue ocean and temps in the high 60's made for a lovely day along the coast.
Anyway, hope you enjoy the photos, and if you are having winter weather, here's hoping spring-like weather will come your way soon!

Oh, that first fruit tree (is it plum?) is certainly decked out in its spring wardrobe. And who wouldn't want to be taking a walk along that beautiful coast? Don't feel guilty ~ just feel grateful!
Beautiful photos DAnna!!!! Don't feel too bad... there is something very magical about snow too!
ALl that colour! You enjoy the sun, I am longing to see it again. Here in England, one of the Rothchilds used to drive a pair of zebras in a little carriage. I wonder what the rancher was worried about?
